Calling all NYC school teachers....this is a good one

I just received this forward and wanted to share.

By 2007, the city will be demanding the following from the pedagogues.
1. Teachers will only be allowed to serve on jury duty in July or August. Those teachers on cases going into September, must forfeit days in their sick bank as well as money.
2. Teachers returning from sabbaticals must serve for 5 years more. Sabbaticals are to be granted after 25 years of teaching. Teachers must submit a 500 page essay detailing what was gained both educationally and academically during the sabbatical. Unsatisfactory papers will be returned and done over. If the second paper is deemed unsatisfactory, teachers will receive a u-rating and forfeit the pay they received while on sabbatical.
3. Teachers must ask permission to use the bathroom. Excessive bathroom use may be grounds for u-rating and instant dismissal. This also can't be grieved.
4. Schools to remain open until 5P.M. Teachers will do supper patrol in the cafeteria. Teachers may bring boxed dinners with them with the approval of the person in charge.
5. Since teachers are not paid extra for open school night, teachers will now have monthly evening meetings with parents. Parents may bring attorneys with them to the meetings. Teachers may not have representation nor grieve any outcome of the meeting.
6. Students may now observe teachers. Unsatisfactory results will be forwarded to the principal and regional superintendent.
7. The UFT hierarchy will now observe teachers. Unsatisfactory observations will be forwarded to the principal or regional superintendent.
8. The CAR will now end.
9. Teachers must give one year notice of intention to retire. Regional superintendent may deny your application to retire on the basis of hardship to the rest of your department.
10. Teachers may not put on air-conditioners in classrooms without the approval of the principal or regional superintendent.
11. If a fight breaks out in your classroom, teachers must explain to the principal how they failed to motivate the recalcitrants.
12. Teachers shall work on Saturday or Sunday depending upon religious persuasion. Notes from a rabbi or priest are needed to avoid working on sabbath day. Teachers absent on religious days must have a letter from a priest or rabbi indicating that they were in attendance at their synagogue or church during said holiday. The same will be true of all religions.

BY VOTING FOR THE CURRENT CONTRACT, WE ARE ALLOWING THE BLOOMY-KLEIN TEAM TO WALK ALL OVER US. WHY DID I AND SO MANY OTHERS BOTHER TO STRIKE YEARS AGO? PLEASE SPREAD THIS AROUND.

Soon they are going to put beds and welcome home signs in the classrooms. That is ridiculous and especially the bathroom one, I'd be gone in a day with my stomach disorder!! I feel for anyone that may have to work under those prison rules!!!

If it is even partially true then we are talking about second classs citizens here.

This is only a joke.....someone from work forwarded it to me. I guess some one made it up to make light of the sh$tty contract.
