If I had to choose for my own house, I would get the darker one, unless you are going to be strict about not eating or drinking in the room, ever. I am always spilling stuff on our couch, thankfully it's a dark color.

i LOVE the light one too, but i'm just too much of a hazard to have any light color appulstry (sp)

I bought a light color couch, thinking we dont have any babies yet and he has a (at the time) 11yo daughter why not get a light color couch for once. You would not believe how disgusting it got and somebody got ink on it. So now, I am having it steam cleanede and buying a slipcover and buying the darkest color I can next time.
My aunt said to only do a light color couch if it will be a formal livingroom and hardly used, now I know why.

Our couch is stone and I love it. (We dont have any kids)It is microfiber and very easy to clean. On of DH friends broke a blue pen on it and got ink all over it... I was soo mad! It all came off with ivory soap! We have had it for about 3 years and it still looks perfect. I have to say the only negative is that we have a cat and the microfiber really attracts pet hair. It does comes off really easily with a lint brush.

thanks everyone! Yes they are from Levitz. I think we are going to go with the Khaki.. I love Stone but with my dogs, I am just asking trouble with any light colors...
