Eyebrow wax in the city..
Does anyone know of a good eyebrow waxer in the city? I need someone who will tweeze and trim. Someone was telling me they do it at Sephora.. what's that about? Anyone ever try it?
I usually get them waxed like twice a year, then I'll follow along with the line they make as they grow in.. but I went tweezer happy about a month ago and ruined them. I normally go to fabulous faces in Oceanside, but I've been trying to call for days and no one is answering the phone.

Lancome has an eyebrow studio in there just for that! they are great. You have to make an appt and be on time.
It did not hurt at all and it was reasonably priced.

Sephora does the eyebrow shaping, but I think it's about $35 or so. Make sure you check the various locations b/c not all of them do it.
Have you ever tried eyebrow threading??? I go to Pinky's in Midtown and it costs $6 and they do a phenominal job.

I go to a threading place - 458 Seventh Ave, 2nd Floor (Bet. 34th & 35th St). For waxing, I used to go to Joy Nails right by the Affinia.

I've done the threading.. I didn't love it.
So I just went to Sephora.. you know that lady Anastasia who does all the celebrity brows? well she opened up this eyebrow center thing in sephora. Anyway, they told me I didn't have enough brow and to come back in 2 weeks. I don't want thick eyebrows though.... I just need a clean up. and I wasn't paying $32 for a clean up!

I have an AMAZING person in the city-- I have been going to her for years and she also does my facials. She is on 23rd b/t 5th and 6th... She is on vacay right now, but I believe returns home within the next week or two. FM if you want her info.
