fence company and type
I am in need of fencing in our yard this summer. Looking for a good company on LI. Can anyone tell me about the one they might have used.
Also any ideas on the kind. I see a lot of the white pvc type. Or should i get a wood one. Basicly I am looking for maintence free. Any info is greatly thanked!!

I just recently updated the thread I had looking for a pence from last October. We had white PVC privacy installed for our entire yard (1/3 acre) because we are on a corner and spent a LOT of money and have a horrible experience. Someone actually referred me to the company because they had used them as well. She too is now having problems getting them to come back out to fix things. Seems like so long as they get your sale they dont care about anything after that. I just filed a complaint with Better Business yesterday to see if they will resolve the ongoing issues of 3 months.
Consumers is who I would NOT recommend. I cant even get another company to come and fix it becuase they didnt do the install. What a headache its been!

We just used Natural beauty on Sunrise Hghwy. in Wantagh and were very pleased with them. HTH

We used Suffolk Deck and Fence in Massapequa for our railing--they had the best price by far and their work was EXCELLENT.
If you are looking for maintenance free--go for PVC, not wood.

I got quotes from Rose, Natural beauty, Carls, Amendolas, Liberty, and one other that I can't remember.
Amendola's had the best price!

We got PVC Fence and used Riverhead Fence.

The only company that I would NOT ever get is Consumer Fence. They were terrible in EVERY aspect.
