FYI! CHEAP BABY FOOD AT TARGET(at least here in GA)

my friend was in Target and said Gerber glass jars were on CLEARANCE FOR 0.26 CENTS A JAR!!!!

a local supermarket had Gerber Tender Harvest 4 for $1!!!!

My only guess is that they are phasing out the glass jars....the exp dates were '07 and '08

That's what they are doing. I went to Shoprite today and there was basically no gerber on the shelves!!! My friend said it was the same way at her shoprite.. She asked and they said that the are re-doing the gerber foods so they aren't putting any more out!!!

I guess it is a good week for Beechnut

On another note, in both Plainview Shoprites, there are no good flavors of yo- baby yogurt available... something with they are having problems with the manufacturer

Not as cheap as 26 cents but CVS has buy 1 get 1 50% off.

YES, YES. I was going to post this too. I went to the Target in the broadway mall yesterday and bought stage 2 dinners (4 pk) for $1.08 and the 16 pk of the pampers bibsters for $1.48. There were also a few of the stage 3 apricot fruits for $.26 and this stage 2 apple and cherry (never saw before but bought anyway) for $.13. I stocked up. There were also new flavors of gerber crackers and the gerber dried fruits.
I cant believe that they will be getting rid of the glass jars.
