Is organic whole milk ok to give to babies 12months+?

sorry if this is a dumb question...but i was just wondering if i should give my son this instead of regular milk??

If you can afford the difference in price, I'd go with organic over regular. There is a small amount of a growth hormone that is now in regular milk that wasn't there when we were kids. While its considered safe, its not considered helpful to your baby, and no one can really say if there will be some sort of long term impact.

I've only given my son Organic whole milk since 13 months, when he was switched form formula.

When the time comes I won't give my daughter anything but organic milk. We actually get it delivered to our house from a local dairy.

I give organic, unless I'm in a pinch and need to go through dairy barn....although I've never asked if they have organic, they may....does anyone know?

99% of the time Molly gets organic milk. I buy it at Costco. I feel it is just safer to give her..I actually try to get it for Scott and I as well, but it is hard to get skim in organic that doesn't cost $4.49 a 1/2 gallon..it gets very expensive.

I give my DS organic whole mile when ever we are home. He gets 1 to 2 cups of regular milk when he is at daycare - 3 days a week.
Giving him organic milk costs more than when he was on formaula!!


Michelle....do you buy whole organic milk at Costco...I have only seen the lowfat at the one near me.
