Moms of boys:
"So ya gonna keep tryin for that girl ???"

Moms of girls:
"So I bet your hubby really wants a boy"

How annoying !!!!!!!!

I was at a baby shower today, baby talk all around, there were 5 preggos, 3 of us knowing we are having boys. one other mommy of 2 boys having her 3rd boy like me

I was waiting by the ladies room and this one lady goes "So do you know what youre having?" and I said "yep another boy!!"

and she goes "OMG your kidding !!!!!!!!
with a "my sympathies" look on her face, and then she proceeds to say "So how disappionted were you? Were you REALLLLYYY THATTTT Disappointed????" (still with a sad look on her face) as she stood there with her little girl, I said "Well beleive it or not, Im not disappointed in the least bit ! I love boys and Im so used to being a boy mommy, and if I had another I think Id want another boy! "

and she continued to get into this discussion of when I SHOULD "do it" after ovulating to increase my chances of having a girl ! AHHHH.

I had my nieces with me, they are more than fun, adorable, girly-girls. I adore them and have fun buying them girlie stuff.

ITs not to say that I WOULD be disappointed or that I would be sad if I DID have a girl, but why does everyone assume youre sad to have all one gender ? I always thought there was something cool about 2-4 sisters or brothers growing up together. Im sure its a cool bond and different from others...

Ugh, thanks for letting me vent.

This is why I'm sooooooo glad we're having a girl now. One of each so we never have to be worried about being asked this question. We're stopping at 2, so we lucked out. I feel for you. I'd be so annoyed being asked all the time

I HATE that. I'm ttc now and I know if I have another boy my in-laws will be all over that. Honestly as long as my baby is healthy - that is all that matters to me. Peop;e are so rude!

Dont remind me, my MIL is DYING for a girl... oh well grandma, sorry (and my hubby is an only child) Thank God she loves my sisters 3 girls like her own grandchildren, she gets all her "girl" shopping and obsessions out with them...

I think people just can't win no matter what they have. I ALWAYS wanted 3 - 2 of each & a spare .

I always hear "Oh, so you have a boy & a girl - you're all done now." Truth be told we are all done, but having people repeatedly say it is annoying. I think I'm going to counter with "Yup, that's right - only recreational sex now."

As for three boys - I can think of nothing more wonderful than having your own little gang.
