Steam cleaner
Does anyone have one of those high pressure steam cleaners?
I'm wondering if they do a good job, if anyone has any recommendations for one. I saw one on the home shopping shows and it looks really interesting; but epinions.com has many bad reviews.
Does anyone have one, does it work well, make/model, etc?

I don't have one - I borrowed a cousins and it did my carpets wonderfully - I added a little bit of oxy clean to the water

We rented one from Home Depot last weekend and I liked it a lot.
I used it on that armchair odor and it helped A LOT. Also, we have carpet on our stairs and it did a great job with the stairs.
When we buy a house and have more carpet, I think we'll buy one.
