Assisted Living/Nursing Home reccomendations?
Anyone have any reccomendations for nursing homes in the Huntington area? My grandfather had a stroke yesterday and it looks like he'll be needed 24 hour care and we want to find something nice for him. He's not old/fragile, in fact he's pretty active and healthy otherwise, so a nice facility/home would be better than a sterile-hospital type setting. We're still waiting for the final prognosis but I need to know where to start looking. If anyone has any experience with a good facility, please let me know.

I think that's what I was thinking about above. I have no experience in this, I have no idea what they are called.
We've been trying to get him to move into an "Adult Community" for so long, but now I think we are beyond that ... I think we need something more.
