Dynamic Grooves Festival
Did anyone go to this today?
Dynamic Grooves
We were there and I could swear I recognized someone -- but didn't think anyone on here was going...

Re: Dynamic Grooves Festival
No, but we live at least a half a mile south (maybe a mile) and we could here the Zen Tricksters playing clear as day last night with the windows closed and the a/c on I was so exhausted and couldn't sleep. I can't imagine what it was like for people who lived in that neighborhood. I mean, come on, it's very residential and there are some expensive houses up there. It had to be SO LOUD!!
Does this happen every Memorial Day? Guess that's when we'll be planning on going away.

Re: Dynamic Grooves Festival
Supposedly it is the 4th year that they've had it but I don't know if it's been held in the same spot each year. It was supposed to get moved to another site in huntington but last minute (literally yesterday morning) they announced that it was changed back to strawberry fields.
Maybe you'll know, is that place a real park or just someone's house? Because it seemed like a house to me --- there was a house there, just set back a bit, and it really didn't even resemble a park at all aside from maybe some sort of retreat type of place.
We'll be back there on monday. I am sorry you didn't get sleep. It is a strange place to have a festival that plans on having music until 2am (with the drum circles).

Re: Dynamic Grooves Festival
I have no idea. I'm a bit skeptical as to why it was moved last minute and got the ok to be in such a residential place.
I'm assuming it's the remains of an old farm house. I don't mean to be a party pooper but I will be looking into where it's being held for next year. I don't see how they can ok it if it's not in some sort of public park in such a residential area.
