fetal movement

HI everyone I have a quick question. I am pregnant with my second child but of course I don't remember much of my pregnancy from my son. Anyway, I am now 21 weeks pregnant with a GIRL :). I don't feel all that much movement yet. Once in a while I feel a few kicks outside or some movement if I put my hand on my belly . When does the real movement begin? I am so nervous.

Thank you . - Shari

Re: fetal movement

consider what you are feeling movement! It took me a while to feel regular movement with our little angel....and even at 28 weeks it's at specific times of the day. I can feel her at least 3 different times during the day.

They can be responsive to caffeine, food in general (you might find she moves more after eating!), or a sugar rush.

My angel moves quite a bit before bedtime between 10-11pm!

I was starting to get nervous too about this.. I felt him first move around 22 weeks-- and now he won't stop! I am convinced that this baby does sleep!

Re: fetal movement

Hi - im 21 weeks along also - When are you due? im Due February 18. I started feeling flutters and movements around 18-19 weeks -and now i feel my baby several times throughout the day especially when im sitting down to eat or relaxing - i just can't wait till my husband can feel the movements too.

But - you are right on schedule with what you are feeling. Good luck and congrats!
