with this house April to July (3 months)

It took us approx. 4 months from start to finish, longest 4 months ever (besides the Wedding planning) !

We made an offer the day before mother's day, had it accepted the same day, closed & moved in on June 28th. Total time was 6 weeks.

It took us about 3 months, but we had to sell a coop which takes a lot longer.

We foung the house May 15,
made offer May 16, offer accepted same day, inspector May 20
Officially under contract June 3
Mortgage commitment letter received June 23
Anticipated closing in early to mid August - but date is not set yet.
It will end up at 3 months plus or minus a week or two.
I think it might go a bit slower this time of year because people go on vacation, so far in this process or mortgage broker was away for 2 weeks, our attorney for 10 days and realtor for 2 weeks. Also it's a busier season, I have seen so many under contract and sold signs popping up in so many neighborhoods lately.

we made our offer feb 28th, after negotiations and back and forth, and then signing the contracts, blahblahblah....we closed on may 6th!!! so, about 2 months.
