OMG....how nice to see this! I'm leaving for the hospital in about 20 minutes...I think DH is more nervous than I am about this!

Hi Ladies....thanks for all your well wishes. It's about 4:15am and I can't sleep...if DH knew I was downstairs on the computer, I think he would kill me...LOL.
The surgery went well....they were able to map out the ovary on the left side that they always have trouble seeing during the ultrasounds. They did find that the right ovary is basically undeveloped. Which...is not a big surprise because they know that the tube on the right side was undeveloped from the HSC test, and there is no kidney on the right side which they found out during an IVP test. So...it all makes sense as to why I have a unicornia uterus (very narrow to one side) because nothing on the right side ever completely developed. At this point...no theory as to why that would have happened. I have been regular my whole life and never had any issues in this area, so it never came up before.
Anyway...I'm feeling a little dizzy as I type this, so I think I will go lay down for a while. Thanks again for all your well wishes! I hope that this new information will help the doctors and I will graduate from this board in the coming months.

Wow Kim, that is a lot to take in. I guess you were pretty suprised, considering you have always been regular. Now that you and the Dr. know what's going on, I guess you can move on to the next steps, and hopefully a BFP very soon!!

Kim definitely take it easy today and rest. I know you got a lot of information but, it should allow you to move forward. I am glad nothing unexpected was found. You of course are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, soon, this whole infertility board will be 'gone'. I can't stand that word !

Kim, glad to hear the procedure wasn't too bad and that you are feeling OK .. I know you got a LOT of information and I'm sure it was a lot to digest (especially shortly after the procedure) but hopefully with this knowledge you will know how to proceed and be well on your way to finally getting PG
