I cannot wear my bra anymore - need help

I just cant wear my bras anymore - they just hurt! I normally wear them 24/7 - pregnant or not. But now, they are just rubbing under my bbs and it hurts so much I have to do something. I need support though - what can I wear?

Maybe a sports bra?? Also, their are bras they make with no underwire that have thick straps that can support your chest. I wear them now and I am a C.

Me too...I have one bra left that I can wear, and it's still not comfortable. I need the underwire, so I'm having a hard time finding anything. If I do, I'll let you know.

If it's not the cup part, they sell bra extenders in fabric stores.

The cup and straps and everything fit OK - but the band just under my boobs is rubbing against my skin constantly and its creating a red rash - like friction burn. I dont know what to do.

Get a couple of sports bras and try powdering under your breasts with corn starch. Perspiration may be causing some of the irritation.

OK I'll try the powder.

I'm about to tear my bra off and go braless at work.Chat Icon

ETA: OK I did it. I just cant take the pain anymore. I can harldy move without this bra feeling like its literally rubbing my skin off. I took my bra off at work - LMAO - I have a sweater, I'll put that on over my shirt and hopefully no one will notice.

Don't let those puppies out! Just go for the bra extender to give you extra room!

Re: I cannot wear my bra anymore - need help

I have the same issue, my boobs got soo huge even with the bra on they rub on the underpart on my belly. I get this red, very ouchy almost like a bruise from my bra.

I have been wearing sports bras in between the bra and it has helped sooooo much!! I can't wear the bra everyday, It hurts wayyyy too much.

I used the sports bras i had pre-pg when i was a c cup, they do real well, and even stop the boob leakageChat Icon

I wear sports bras when I get home from work, and they work wonders.
I cant wear them to work, because they are not as supportive, but my boobs feel good when I wear themChat Icon

I was having a hard time finding comfy bras as well.

I know its early but I went out and bought some maternity bras yesterday from motherhood. They are actually really comfy and I was able to find the size I needed (40E) Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: I cannot wear my bra anymore - need help

DH was driving thru NYC and picked me up early from work - we stopped at Kohls on the way home and I bought a sports bra and another type of seamless bra - which is not as thick as the sports bra and has no clasp in the back - but its soooo soft and I hardly feel anything. Im off tomorrow and going to get another one. I have a maternity bra - but that was hurting me too - so at least I can wear this new bra. Thank God!!!!!! I was in so much pain!

ETA I also broke down and bought my first pair of granny type panties and Im wearing them right now. All I can say is OMG....Ive been wearing thongs all along and this is a nice change!!!

I had to do this a few times myself. Chat Icon Thank God I work the night shift and wear a white lab coat over my clothes!!!

I ended up going out and getting measured for the proper size so that it fit right and I bought a couple of new ones. I'm so much happier now!

If the band is rubbing, maybe it is too loose? That part should really be staying pretty secure if it fits right.

Hope the corn starch makes you feel better. If not, either Massengil or Vagisil powder says it can be used under the breasts -- I had to do this a couple of summers ago. The powder is nice and fine and it really does soothe the area.

Re: I cannot wear my bra anymore - need help

Thanks girls! I went back to Kohls today and bought 2 more of the camisol/bra tops. So now I have 3 of them - hopefully I will be able to go back to my maternity bras soon because I would like more support.
