question about mattress
hannah's mattress is super firm. she does not sleep in her crib. do you think a softer mattress or mattress cover would help her sleep better in the crib? i was reading someone else's post and it had me wondering that maybe she is just not comfortable in the crib! what do you think?

Re: question about mattress
I thought this too, so I went and bought a mattress pad to make it softer. It didn't really help- sorry!
But it might help for you!

Re: question about mattress
Have you elevated it for her? With the AR it was 6 months before Miranda slept in a crib. We had the Amby bed for her and she did most of her sleeping there. When the time came to try to transition though we didn't do anything to make it softer but I think ChathamChick said she put a mattress pad on her DD's crib and it helped.

Re: question about mattress
We figured we would test out a mattress pad before we dropped more $$$ on another mattress and so far, so good!!! She's sleeping in the crib now!!!
We picked up this mattress pad at BRU: Organic Cotton Mattress Pad by Priva Inc.
Best of luck...Hope it works out for you!! (I've been there. )
