our tentative date was on or about july 13th... we still havent closed!
usually you have about a 30 day window from that date...

Congrats!
Honestly though, I wouldn't count on closing on that day. My parents were actually driving to their closing when it was cancelled (the guy who was buying the house from the people buying their house was missing some paper, and the guy who they need for said paper was sunning it up in aruba or something )
Don't count on a closing date until your actually signing the papers (sorry - the ordeal my parents went through has left me very skeptical - the closing date changed at least 3 times).
