Wedding Gift or $ for the boss?

My boss is getting married soon. What is proper....give a gift or give money? He is a successful business man with more then one location, owns several homes ect. What is proper?

I would still give money, just like I was giving for any other wedding.

I don't know what's proper but as a guest to someone who significanlty has more money than me, I'd probably give a gift.

Waterford candlesticks perhaps?

I agree. Key words being significantly more money!

Re: Wedding Gift or $ for the boss?

I was sort of leaning towards the gift idea...They are registered at Bloomingdales & Fortunoffs. I had thought I would spend the same amount I would have given as a gift. Thanks girls!
