When they move from 2 naps to 1, does their bedtime come earlier too?

Sarah has been moving toward 1 nap a day. It's not every day yet, but getting more and more common. On those days she seems ready to go down about 30-60 minutes earlier than the days she has 2 naps. I'm sure it's normal, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

it didn't for James....but instead of 2 1/2 hour naps...we now get 1 2 hours nap.

It didn't for Andrew. He's always been a late sleeper, and his schedule has been 9-9 since I can remember. yes, I am lucky. He takes 1 2 hour nap each afternoon!

Claire is kinda of in this transition stage right now. On the days she takes 2 naps she goes to sleep at 8:30-9:00 on her 1 nap days she is ready for bed by 7:30-8:00. I am hoping that once she gets her 1 nap to be a little later in the afternoon she will be back to an 8:30 bedtime.

Thanks. I guess it's different for each kid. Maybe this is why there isn't a manual! Chat Icon

On the days she takes 2 naps, they are each 1.5 hours Chat Icon and when she takes 1 it's 2 hours, so I guess it makes sense that she's sleepier earlier, she's losing out on 1 hour of sleep. I can't wait until we are back into a solid routine again, it's so hard to plan out my days now.
