I went from publishing to educaiton..I don't consider myself successful yet because I am still looking for fulltime work..

I went from being a surgical coordinator/billing clerk to being an electrician. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hated sitting behind a desk all day.

I switched from education to engineering. It was difficult and took many years of school, part time and then full time. I am glad I did it, but I sacrificed a lot to do so.

yes!! went from accounting (MBA and all) to teaching 7th grade math. I make about half of what I used to make, but I am 1000x happier and less stressed!

my friend went from environmental science where she worked on construcion sites to becoming a teacher!!!! It can be done!!!!

My DH does pharmaceutical sales.
He start off selling payroll services and made the change after a year of sales experience.
