At what age did your child take 8oz. of formula

He never did, I think he maxed out at about 6oz.
He usually drank smaller amts more frequently cause he would spit up anything more.

at 4.5 months!
ETA - she will be 6 months in a few weeks and drank 8 oz this morning (and wanted more!)

Emily is 10 months and has yet to take 8 oz. The most she ever takes is 7 oz and the dr actually told us that most babies never need more then 6oz per feeding.

really? I always thought that most babies take 8 oz. eventually. Good to know.

DD is 8 months old - She won't take more than 6oz a feeding. Once in a while she'll drink 7oz at right before bed.

I just upped her 2 weeks ago. So 4.5 mos.... She also has cereal with her am feeding. Rarely she will leave formula, she has to be really exhausted.......Shes a little chunky butt

9 weeks  I go through so much fromula it's crazy
He averages 8 a day but about 3 times during the day he takes 10 oz. That is why we already started rice cereal.

Sydney has a big appetite but I never gave her more than 6 1/2 at a time. I think if I gave her more she would have taken it but she would seem satisfied with the 6. Sometimes she can finish her bottle so fast that when she is done she cries a little - less than a minute - and I think that is because it takes awhile for her to actually comprehend that she did eat!

I just wanted to add that I agree with this, it was the same way with DS.

Genevieve ONLY drank 8oz bottles when she slept thru a feeding....
She is topped off at 6oz at almost 9 months!

Nicole never took 8 oz's...she tops off at 5....sometimes if she is really thirsty she will have 8 before bed....shes not a big drinker.
