Does anyone remember when did the hurricane hit the Yucatan Peninsula?

Im going to the Riviera Maya in July- did the hurricanes hit that area then?

I believe Katrina hit the end of July and Wilma hit early October.

I don't remember the name, but it was def. July... I was supposed to go the next day after it hit and our hotel was closed, so definitely middle of July.

i was there in june.. i remember it hitting about a month later.. it was def sometime in july.. then they had a few near misses in august and septmeber.

Hurricane Wilma was there the second week of October. I remember because I was in Aruba at the timeand was wondering if it would affect our flight home.

But YES hurricanes definitely hit there in June.

Hurricane season goes from June 1 - Nov 30. Hurricanes can hit anywhere at anytime. Wilma hit in October. Alpha, Betta and I think Gamma lingered around and even after hurricane season their were some no real big threat storms but they loomed out in the atlantic.

I live in FL and keep a watch out on hurricanes

Emily hit cancun in July - I remember because my boss and his family were there and holed up in the ballroom of their hotel for 2 days.

It hit in mid-October. I was there for my one year anniversary and you could tell something was brewing, but we still were lucky enough to have mostly beautiful days.
