Those who own the clear blue easy fertility monitor
How easy is it and how accurate? I'm debating on whether or not to invest in one.

Re: Those who own the clear blue easy fertility monitor
its very accurate but honestly i bought one and i feel like i wasted my money. i used it once. (didnt get a BFP). i stopped using bc it was so annoying to have to wake up and always pee ont hat stick every morning. I have a really long cycle and i had to pee on the stick more days then most. if u have a regular cycle then maybe u wont mind it. PLus it placed alot of stress on me and my DH to BD. i felt like it took the fun out of things.

Re: Those who own the clear blue easy fertility monitor
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still waiting for first AF post d&c, I'm going into my 6th week. I wake up at 4 am to take my temp each morning, so this might be easier for me since it isn't a set time. I'll think about it some more, thanks again.

Re: Those who own the clear blue easy fertility monitor
IMO, there is no better tool for predicting ovulation aside from blood tests.
The sticks read, two hormones. LH and Estradoil...and can detect ovulation based on the rise/surge of both these hormones.
My Re used to ask me to use opks to detect the LH surge. My first IUI was timed incorrectly because I had a positive OPK and didn't ovulate, until 3 days later. Every time I had blood work done, my monitor 's results matched perfectly.
The monitor works differently than opks because you use fmu. You can set the monitor around the time you wake. It will give you a 6 hour time window. If you set it for 9 am, it will ask you to test 6am-12pm.
