Re: What toys are good for 8 Months and up?

I'm thinking that I need to get him some more toys even before his birthday/christmas...he is so bored of his toys. I have a "roll-a-round" ball dragon and different "peek a boo" blocks shape sorters. I would say anything that lights up and makes music, cause and effect. I am thinking about getting Logan one of those convertable walk to ride toys. He is cruising along the couch and loves to hold our hands to "walk"...not that I necessarily want to encourage that right nowChat Icon
I can also send you my cell phone, tv remote and car keys for aly, at least thats what logan's into

Re: What toys are good for 8 Months and up?

At around 8 months Emily started playing more with toys that gave her some interaction, especially physical interaction. She loves her playwall (and it's somewhat more expensive so a good one for grandparents to buy!) -- also she has a fisher price car that can be a rideon toy or a walker that she loves -- and it's a toy that can "grow" with her.

She loves her shopping cart with fruit....her piano, her drum, her telephone that she can drag around the house with her while she crawls -- and then sit down and press buttons. She gets a kick out of me pretending to talk on it and then handing it to her....

I think anything that encourages mobility would be great!

The Leap Frog Music Table is great for that pulling up/cruising age and it's amazing to see them learn how to get all the music to come on.
