We have family in Kernersville which is located between Greensboro and Winston-Salem. There is alot of new construction going on there, lots of nice new communities.
We also have family in Jamestown.

I moved to Charlotte. I think it all depends on your background/career. I knew Charlotte was a good fit for me career wise and jumped at the opportunity to come down here.

We were thinking of mving to Charlotte.. they have beautiful homes for awesome prices.. and my parents are moving to Ashville next year. Willmington is also really nice (on the coast).

We have been doing some research as well and are looking into possibly buying NC real estate.
Wilmington is of interest to us because we want to stay near the coast. Has anyone been there? We are planning on going there soon for a mini vacation.
How is the area?

I live in Raleigh. We are in a temporary apartment until I get a job and we find a house. The areas we like best are North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Apex and Cary. It really all depends on what you are looking for in an area.
We love it here and are so happy we made this move!
