Anyone who went to Billy Joel concert..
What time did it start? We wanted to get dinner beforehand but the tickets say 7pm and no opening act.....
Also if you took the train how crowded was it? Trying to decide if I should drive in....

we are going in with 2 other couples and staying the night. We got a good price on priceline.
We will get there in the aerly afternoon...check in and then get an early dinner, casual though.

We went to an 8.00 show that started around 8.20 - 8.30. It was a Thursday night so I was already in the city. DH took a train in that was fine but Penn will be crowded because of rush hour. Going home trains can be a little crowded because of the people going home from the show.

Thanks ladies --- I guess we do have time for dinner beforehand.
I am OK with the train in but someone on here said the train home was a nightmare... not sure if I should drive or not.
Either way I am totally psyched for tonight!!!

I am going tonight! My friend at work went she said He went on @8:30 and it was over at 11:15ish.
