Feel like a dork: I miss my parents and they are only on vacation
This must sound pathetic but my parents are in NC visiting my brother and SIL and I am SO used to seeing them almost every day. I spoke to them a few times but since they are at my bro's I feel weird taking them away from him and also mom doesn't feel as relaxed to talk to me (and tell me how weird my bro's MIL is).
I feel like such a dork that I miss my mommy so much. She is only on vacation not living somewhere else.

Try g oing from seeing your mom at leat 4x a week to them moving to Florida and seeing them every few weeks.

I still get like that when my parents go away, I'm very close to my mom and talk to her everyday. So when they are away on vacation I dont speak to her as much, and I miss her.

Dh always calls me a dork whether we or on vacation or my parents are I always miss them and my kitty that is still at my parents house

I know how you feel...When my parents go on a cruise, I always get sad. That's why I could never move away from them.

Me too!!!! I am sick over the fact that my parents are going to Italy for a week, what will I do without them!!!??? I speak to both of them at least 2/day (i know, that mye be unhealthy), but we alwasy have so much to talk about. We are truly best fo friends, I hope they are home for you soon Juliet!!!
