Vacation question...Need opinions...

We're going to an all-inclusive in Jamaica next fall. We're deciding between a couple resorts. Basically we're deciding between the lowest level room at one resort, or the highest level room (beachfront private jacuzzi suite) at another. The price difference is $250 per person for the week, so $500 more total. What would you do? We probably won't be spending too much time in the room since there is so much to do...

ETA: We have the money, I'm just not sure if it is worth the $500.

For me, I would get the nicer room. We tend to relax quite a bit in the room and sometimes my fair skin can only take so much sun.

If you don't think you will be in the room much, though, it might not be worth it.

For our honeymoon we upgraded our room to the highest suite with a private plunge pool. We only used that pool once. We did love having the living area to relax, but the pool really wasn't necessary. Therefore, I would go with the better all around resort, as long as the amneties are ok.
