Weren't they afraid with all his crying they'd have to run the zamboni machine over the ice again?
It was very touching though. Even though I'm a Devils fan and still loathe the Rangers, I was very chocked up watching the highlights from the ceremony this morning.
Did the Rangers schedule Messier night on the night they played the Oilers on purpose?

Was glued to the screen.
We almost went.
My BIL has 4th row season tickets. the guy that sits next to him sold his seats for $3000  on ebay!
So BIL was gonna sell his good seats and get as many tickets as that money would buy for us all to go since we all went together to Richter night..but it didnt happen, so we had to watch from home.
I LOVE MARK. I think he shows what a REAL althlete is...his enthusiasim and love for the sport was so obvious...he will be missed 
And yes, DH cried

I didnt like her voice at all...but I thought it was great that she sang, and the song was so appropriate, real tear jerker...
