Speaking of bottles and formula

Have any of you ever switched bottles after the baby is already established with a certain kind?

We've always used the playtex nursers with the drop-ins but sometimes I wish we could just use regular old bottles....

Also some people say they switched back and forth between formulas depending on what is on sale...can you do this too?? We've only switched twice and once we found what worked we stuck with that...but she doesn't need special formula. She just needed gentleease for a little while when she was younger.

We switched from Avent to Playtex Vent Aire. We were using the Avent for a while, but she seemed like she was choking on them.

I don't switch formula because to me its not worth the risk at this point, especially since she's already drinking some milk so our formula days will soon be over.
Sometimes I'm tempted to switch bottles so I don't have to wash so many parts but at this point I don't see the point because she drinks fine out of a sippy so we'll be done with bottles soon too I would imagine.

I went from the Playtex nurser drop in's to Advent to Dr.Browns and DS had so problem going from one to the other.
