Traveling with baby question..
I am due in Feb. and am making plans to travel with my husband and baby next summer to Great Britain. I am not going to get a seat on the plane for the baby, and my mother-in-law has a crib, etc. at her house...but what do I do in the car from the airport and when traveling in a cab without a carseat?? Do I have to bring some kind of easy-hook-up car seat or something? Thanks. I'm just clueless!

Re: Traveling with baby question..
I live in GB and have travelled with my baby back and forth twice now. I just got back to the UK yesterday. I have a car seat that will fit in any car, so I brought that. If you have one with a base, just pack the base. I brought the seat on the plane and seatbelted it into the car when I got to LI.
Hey, are you married to a Brit too???

Re: Traveling with baby question..
Thanks! If you don't buy a seat on the plane, can you still bring your car seat onto the plane? Or do you have to check it? FM'd you about DH!
