I was on Atkins right before i had gotten pregnant so after i went off when i found out i gained weight back ...but besides that i have gained 7lbs so far at 16 weeks

Everyone is different, but I gained 8 lbs already and only 10 weeks pg. I started gaining at about 5-6 weeks. I really depends on your genetics, what your pre pg weight is, and how/what you eat and even sometimes that doesn't even matter if genetics are stronger:)
My morning sickness/all day sickness was awful I could only eat white flour, carbs, cheese, all the things that are not the greatest for you.
I haven't eaten white flour in years!!

I started gaining pretty soon... about 4lbs first trimester and at 16 week appt I had gained 7lbs.

I gained about 6-7 lbs by week 17 - but now i can tell im quickly putting on the weight!

At 21 weeks - doctors say its normal to put on about 1 pound a week - and i've been doing just that and some.

Here's my weight tracker from my pregnancy


Month 1-3 I gained 1 pound total
Total of 27 pounds during pregnancy.

All I have to add is watch out between months six and seven....this was my biggest gain, along with three other friends. I always like to add the baby makes a big jump in weight too (to like 2 pounds )

I dont know, I'm almos 10 wks and I def gained weight but I havent weighed myself yet.

OMG you gained ONE pound in the beginning??? I gained that at lunch today LOL

it depends....everyone gains weight..it's a matter of how much and when.

I started at 150, at 15 weeks I had only gained 6 lbs

I'm 14 weeks and I have gained 5 lbs.

I"m 20 weeks and havent' gained an ounce! My belly got bigger though! It's because I've been so sick that I still can't hold anything down. I have a Dr's appt. tomorrow and I am really concerned!

I am at week 13. At my last appointment (week 11) I gained about 3 lbs. But today, clothes are starting to fit a little tighter, so I think I am gaining more. I have another appointment in 3 weeks.

I lost weight in the first trimester due to morning sickness, so I didn't start gaining until the second trimester.

18 weeks and up 10lbs.

I didn't gain anything my first trimester. I actually lost a pound. When I went to the dr @ 18 weeks I gained 4 pounds. I'm now 20 weeks and my mother said it looks like I gained wt.

I am a little over 33 weeks and have gained 8 pounds so far. I was over weight before pregnancy and that has a lot to do with it.
