Aggrivated with the Doctors office....(vent)

So, my appointment was supposed to be for today at 3:10. I got my confirmation call last night on the answering machine and it said 12:30. Where did they get 12:30 from? So I called back to confirm, and they said I was scheduled at 12:30 because that was when the sono tech was in.

So why (may I ask) do I have your little business-sized appointment card that clearly says 9/27 3:10pm ??

I am going to complain at the office today because this is a huge inconvenience to me. I had already changed my work schedule around my appointment. I am overly ticked because this is the 2nd if not 3rd time this has happened with this office. Totally not professional!

u dont use University Plaza OB/GYN do U????

they did the same thing to me with my level II - i had the card and they said well we called u left a confirmation - so i said oh really i didnt get a message, what phone number??

the # they had was disconnected 5 months prior - so DH called it and it is turned off - SO HOW DID U LEAVE A MESSAGE?!?!?!?!

i hate when they do stuff like that and i found out it is a common occurrence in my office.


eta - oh and i told them i was not leaving until i had my level II done - do u know how disappointing that would have been??? thank god the sono tech is so nice and took me!

No, I don't use that office. This happened with Personal Womens Care.

And YOU KNOW I will be sitting in the office for at least 2 hours before being seen. So why do we bother making appointment times anyway?

I had it out with my doctors office last weekend - I really can't wait until going to all these appts is over. I feel your pain!!!

So what time are you going?

OK, so I went and talked with the office manager directly. I showed her the card written for 3:10 and she asked if I took the name of the person that booked it. Why on earth would I need to do such a thing - can't you see that its wrong?
Anyway - she took care of it I guess. I am not looking to get anything out of this - just for it not to happen again.

The same thing happened with my doctor also. I made an appointment at 6:30 so DH could go after work. When they called to confirm, they said it was at 4:15. I would never make it at that time because DH couldn't go. I had to go at 4:15 anyway and DH missed the appointment. He was upset.

i had this happen at every appt as well it was soo aggrevating especially since dh works in jersey and wanted to make sure he could be there. so we switched doctors and i have my appt tomorrow and it was nice to get a call withthe right date and time on it lol

That really stinks. It's like they have no respect for you and don't realize that your time is valuable too.
