Anyone take Primacare prenatals?...1 MORE QUESTION
I was on one brand while TTC from my GP and when I got PG and went to OBGYN, they swtiched me to primacare - they are 2 pills - one am and one pm just wondering if anyone else takes them also?

I was just given a sample. They are suppose to be very good and gentle on your system. I was told they can be very expensive though so check what your co pay is.

i take primacare prenatals....but i only take one a day. he had me on a generic brand while TTC, but the second i got pregnant he switched me too......they are horse pills and purple.....they are expensive too. i think with my insurance i'm paying $35 as my copayment for a 30 day supply!! thats ridiculous!!

Yes, it is expensive $30.00 per month with insurance.
they are sooo big and the ones I have say one in am and one in pm. I wanted to see if anyone took them together, my dh said the Dr. said I could, but I didn't hear him say that.

I took them and loved them. Every vitamin I took prior made me sick. If I have another baby I plan on taking them again.

I take PrimaCareOne... Thats the one a day purple horse pill... I take them at night because if I took them in the morning I would be nauseaus all day... They taste horrible... I say they taste like Vanilla Fish (GROSS) My co-pay is only $8 for a 30 day refill because DH is an FDNY Firefighter (the benefits a great!) But they are supposed to be really good for the baby...

I take them. I am a vegatarian, so my doctor said these are better than the regular prenatals. Only bad thing is my insurance doesnt cover them its almost $50 a month.
ETA: I dont take them together, I take the beige fish oil cap when i get up in the morning and i take the pink one with Dinner.

I take these too and its once a day, a huge purple pill. So far so good, although I am taking them at night now because they make me fill a little sick, and yes, I pay almost $35, AFTER insurance!

There are 2 pills - 1 AM and 1 PM - can you take them together?? I can NOT remember for anything to take them - I miss one everyday.

I took 1 in the morning anf 1 at night, but my sister-in-law took them together. Her son is now 17 months.

I tried them at about 8 weeks and I hated them. They made me feel horrible. I'm back on citrical and these are so much better for me.

Yes you can take them together. My OB specifically told me at the very beginning that most of his patients were forgetting to take the night ones. So he made sure he was clear on it when he prescribed them to me. They are great prenatals and the best ones out there. But unfortunately they were too strong for my stomach so now I take Flintstones Gummies. I'm 34 weeks and I my son is very healthy. So yes it's safe to take them together.
