Argh!!! So frustrated with Drs Office!!!

I am so frustrated with my old doctor's office that I used to go to in HS. When I went there it was just one doctor in a single office -- but since then he's joined a large medical group and it is impossible to get anything from them!!

I need my records of Immunization for my Graduate Program and I am supposed to be starting classes in about a week -- yet they still haven't sent me my immunization records and I've been working on it with them since APRIL!!!!!!!!!

I HATE their MEDICAL RECORDS office! They don't answer the phone -- just have a recording saying that you shouldn't call asking if things have been done, that it will be processed within 10 days !!!!! 10 Days was a LOOOOOOONG time ago!!!

Argh! I am just so frustrated!!! You would think that it wouldn't take 4 months to get this stuff done!

sorry you have to deal with that... it does seem like they never want to let go of the records... like they are made of gold....

I don't know what the heck the problem is. I've filled out all the paperwork, called them a number of times ... it's like they just keep putting the request in a pile of papers that they'll never get to.

this is important stuff! they don't realize how bad they could mess things up if i can't enroll in classes for next week!

I know it might be hard to do with Emily but I would call them and tell them you are showing up at "whatever o'clock" and you would like your record waiting for you.

Do not leave the office until you get them. Better yet, if Emily starts to fuss and carries on in the middle of their office.

Then make a copy for yourself and send them to your program.

That is an idea -- I might have to do that on the way home from picking up my bling today! It just sux because it is all the way out in suffolk county!

Why do dr's offices always make thigns so difficult! They are supposed to help people!

I am also trying to get them from my undergrad college to see if they are any more responsive. I just called them and left a message. I think St. John's will be OK with me starting classes without them -- since I was enrolled in their ITI program last semester and took 18 credits without the records -- but that wasn't as a maltriculated student -- it was just a fast-track program to get my certificate -- but now I have to finish the program to get my master's and they might be more strict about it. The good thing is that this one professor who I took 4 classes with is willing to tell them to just let me through and give in the stuff later if need be since I've taken her classes and been sucessful in them.

It's just frustrating!
