Today is my last Dr's appt b4 due date- Updated
I'm really hoping for some progress. I'm almost upset to have found out that I was 1cm and 50% effaced at that first internal b/c it gave me false hope of going early. And now there's been nothing for weeks. It's gotten so painful and uncomfortable the last couple of days, but no sign of labor. I feel like that has to have been in the name of progress, right? At this point, I'm deathly afraid of going late b/c I'm losing my patience.

Ugh!  They just called to reschedule my appt b/c someone went into labor so now I have to wait until Monday! AAAAAAAAAH

Sending you labor vibes...remember the baby doesn't have a calendar in there so he/she will just come when it is time. And you can go into labor on a dime..it can just happen at anytime so don't feel discouraged

Thanks everybody! Back from the Dr. Still no change and she measured my belly and said the baby seems kind of high still  . i will have to start going 2x per week now and they'll start testing the baby to make sure it is ok. She said hypothetically they'll let me go up to two weeks late so long as the tests don't indicate any problems. I go back on Thursday and they'll do a non-stress test.

I made was 1 cm and 50% effaced at my last appt, I was 39w3d, and the baby was still high. The dr must have stirred something up in there, cause I went into labor that day and had Gianna the next day!
The baby was still high til i was about 7-8 centimeters, and she still hadn't decended totally down til I started pushing.
