Where is your car seat??
Where is your car seat in the car?? We originally put the base in the middle of the backseat because thats where they say its the safest. But we have a durango with a third bench and now the seats dont come down for anyone to get back in the third bench. Is it safe to put on one side? Should we put it behind the drivers seat or the passenger seat?? I am confused now! LOL

I have mine in the middle which is safest but your next option would be in the rear passanger side.

Mine is behind the passenger seat - with my DH being soooo tall, we couldn't put the car seat in the middle, cause it wouldn't have fit when he drove the car.

My dh being tall is another problem. Also, he cannot park the car without putting his arm over the back of the seat and then he hits the car seat. So I think we will have to move it. As long as its safe and the hospital lets us take her home! LOL

Mine is on the Right hand side behind the drivers seat, in the UK we are not advised to put our car seats in the middle...don't know anything about it...but we aren't

No offense, but DH will have to learn not to hit the car seat with his arm. 
Cause when you have a sleeping child and he wakes the baby up!

We have the car seat behind the passengers seat. Two reasons. One so if I had to reach back to tend to the baby while driving, I found it to be easier(while keeping my eyes on the road-basically in case of emergency). Two, when I go any visit my father I have to parallel park and this way the baby would always be on the curb side, and safer in my opinion. I hope that helps.

i posted this a week ago too..i was so confused..i have a tahoe and my carseat is on the rear passenger side. otherwise it is too big for me to reach the carseat in the middle

it is on the passenger side. i had a man from safecheck look at it and we originally had it in the middle of our jeep, but he moved to the passenger side. he said it was safer than the middle b/c in the jeep the middle seat is very soft and it was moving alot.

I have it behind the passegner seat. It doest fit well in the middle and it is so much easier to get him in and out of.

When we had the Maxima it was in the middle. Now that we have the MDX with the 3rd row, we put it right behind the passenger seat.

We have the seat in the middle in our Escape. It's a PITA to get him in there but I feel that it's safe.

We have ours behind the passenger seat because we have a third row seat which we occasionally use. Also the car seat latches are not in the middle and I prefer to use them.
