Turning the car seat around?
I know this question has been asked before but what are the requirements for turning the carseat to face forward? Do you have to wait for the year or can you do it sooner if your child meets the height/weight requirement?

One year AND the weight/height requirements, and they say if you can wait even longer it's better. Their necks really aren't stable enough until then if you were in an accident, god forbid.

Yep, wait for the year mark, no matter how big or heavy they are. Andrew his the wieight requirements at 6 months, LOL, but we waited to turn him around until he was about 13 months (saw no reason before that because he was fine backwards!).

hehe - Kevin hit at 5-6 months too! He just turned one and we are planning to do it soon. He just haven't gotten around to do it with the snow last weekend and running all over on weekends.

my SIl turned hers around at 8 months because he was 20 + lbs !!!! I told her not to but she did it anyways

I'm planning to wait as long as possible (even beyond two years if still withing the weight limit) to turn the seat around. The protection is sooo much better rear facing.
