thank you...i'm just scared- what if i dont like the new place? I am going to miss the girls i work with so much...
but this new place is so much closer to home and its a much better company.

I left my job of 7 years in January, I felt just as you did. Don't worry, it's not as bad as you think it'll be.

and you can still be friends with the girls from your old job
I am still good friends with 4 people I met at my last job-
and at my job now- I made more friends
everything is going to be great!

Friendships transcend jobs.
Also something made you decide to look at the other company. Remind yourself why you wanted to leave, it will make it easier.

i went thru the same thing
what are you worried about specifially-giving them the news and them being upset
is it a competitor? or that they tell you to pack your things right away?
or do you think the office speculated you will be leaving?
i am sure it will go fine... do you have a boss that you report to that you can take aside and explain the sitaution? people are very understanding. i am sure it will go just fine!

If they care about you, or have any class, they won't make it difficult for you. If they make it difficult, think of it as re-affirming your decision to leave.
