Vacation Question

Would you go on Vacation just you and DH and leave the baby with a family member for 7 - 10 days??

DH and I really want to go on a cruise in a few months ( DH will be almost 4 by then) but I am hesitant about leaving DS. I have never spent a night away from him since the day he was born. He would be staying with my IL's who he sees a million times a week and is very close to. I am just so worried about him crying for his mommy and daddy the whole time

DH would really like to get away just the two of us this time....

Roman is almost 5 months and DH and I have been away twice. Once was overnight in Manhattan and then we just came back from Las Vegas for 4 days.

I think you should maybe start with a shorter trip maybe a 3-4 day cruise. Since your son is older it may be harder for him not to see you or DH for so long.

And to answer your question yes I would go away for that long.

I am hoping by the time Miranda is 4 I will be able to do it. My origianal plan was when she was 1 but I highly doubt I am going to be ready to leave her then.
