rainy days.......

what do you do to keep your little one from getting bored?

Jake looks at me sometimes after we have been cooped up for a bit like "not agiain with elmo, mommy" I am convinced he gets bored

Some days we'll go for a walk around the mall. Or play in a different room -- like take all the toys into her bedroom and play in there instaed of the living room. I can't wait until she is older so we can paint, bake cookies together, etc.

Hey, I live in Britain in a teensy tiny (well by American standards) house and it rains a lot of the time. I meet up with friends at a cafe and drink coffee, play in the house, move Noah around to different rooms, let him play with the electrical wired, dvds, daddys computer, whatever...so long as daddy isn't home!!
I have a foam mat on the floor and swap toys pretty much every day so he can have some freedom..sometimes we go go to the mall, or to someones house for coffee mornings. We just try to keep as busy as we can!!

One time I inflated the blow up pool, propped it against the couch upside down for them to play under. It kept them busy for hours.

Right now they're watching TV - which will go off in about an hour. They have plenty of toys to play with to keep them occupied.

If all else fails, raincoats on & splashing in puddles is always a good option.

We go shopping!!!! Have a new house to decorate in a few weeks so theres always something to buy!!!
