Where can I get my dh's birth certificate??!!

Where can I get my dh's birth certificate??!!
We need it in 3 weeks for our cruise and I can NOT find it anywhere. It needs to have the raised seal also.
Does anyone know where I need to go if I can not find it?

I think you can get a duplicate copy at a government office. I know I did this years ago--- google it and I am sure you will easily find.

I think someone I knew had to go somewhere in Rockville Centre to get a new one. I know that doesn't help much, but he had it the next day.

He was born at Southside. I wonder if he could go to Town Hall in Islip and get it.

Thanks. I just spoke with my dh and he said we will tear apart the house tommorow and then he will have to go to town hall in islip. I just read on another thread that it is only $10 at Town Hall.
NOTHING can EVER go smoothly with me-lol!!!!!!!!!

Wow... they want $45 to order a copy online!!... yeah, I would definitley just call Town Hall first and check... I know I ordered a copy of my sons through the mail (in Florida though) and it was under $10.
