Extra blanket for the bed...
Can anyone recommend an extra blanket for the bed to go between the topsheet and the quilt? I hvae a lightweight quilt and last year it got chilly sometimes, but we didn't have an extra blanket. So we'd put this ugly Giants blanket on the bed too that DH has but it's so ugly and I'm looking for a better alternative this year.
I want something lightweight but don't really know what to get since I've never used a blanket like this before.

I was going to say the same thing as npbride -- plus BBB, Linens & things, macys, etc all have light weight blankets.

maybe being a winter bride is why, but I got a total of 6 Queen size blankets for my shower, 1 throw, and 1 twin. I have more blankets than my mother now. I personally love fleece, but hubby sweats so we actually use a cotton blend knit one. We used it a couple of times already because we have a sheet and then our comforter.

I have a nice knitted blanket that I got at Marshalls. $35 for a king! There are always usually some there
