Formula question...
Has anyone's child been on Enfamil Nutramagin???
My son just got put on this due to a milk allergy and was wondering how your kids did on it.

i never had to use it but I do know its more expensive than the others Some insurance companys will pay for NUtranagen. ( sorry for spelling)

2 of my friends children are on it but they get it paid through insurance. If you have the right diagnosis code (CPT code) ( your doctor's office knows what that is...) insurance might pay for it.
Discuss it with your pediatrician because once they have a diagnosis for a child and it is in the record they are not allowed to go and switch it.. That is fraud...
It is worth a try...

Hi Lori - Jake was on that formula, also becasue of a milk allergy. It was a night and day difference with him on it.
My insurance co. paid for it, but when I switched to my husbands, when I quit my job, his didn't cover it It is expensive, but well worth it.

Lori- Both my kids were on it for the first few months and were so different. Actually Luke was on the Alimentum (Same stuff but made by Similac) and my DH use to call it Liquid Gold b/c he was such a different baby when we switched. Neither ever had a true milkallergy b/c were were able to transition to reg formula around 6 mths.
