Fun Topic...What do you do that you swore you never would as a parent?

I always said that I would never allow cans of spaghetti o's in my house....that I would always cook fresh and healthy. Well, now with a picky toddler, I think I solely keep the spaghetti o people in business!

Hmmm... I swore I would never co-sleep.... (we dont often...but some nights Ill do anything to sleep)

I swore Id always put DH 1st...and well I dont always...

I also swore I wouldnt create a child that had to be held all the time...and well Ryan is always in my arms...

I will give sammy soda on occassion. He is over 3. When my friend used to give her son soda I couldnt believe it. I thought it was crazy

I SWORE I'd never co sleep, and like Marissa--I will do ANYTHING to get some decent sleep.

I SWORE I'd breastfeed and Aly did want the boob AT ALL....not even right after birth.

so far that's it.....we'll see what the next few months bring

I swore TV would be banned. But I caved a few months ago, he is defintely limited - maybe two shows in the morning, he really enjoys Sesame Street and Jakers.

We just started having stressful days at dinner time since he is not allowed in the kitchen while I cook so Elmo keeps him from having a tantrum

I also said no tv. Well, Jack is obsessed with the Backyardigans...carries the DVD case everywhere we go. I do feel bad that he watches more TV than I would like, but I work from home and sometimes I have to get stuff done and I put him in the pack and play with a dvd for an hour.

I swore that my child would sleep in there own room and not in our bed. Well she only sleeps in the swing but I will do ANYTHING for sleep!!

Although I always planned to have Miranda in our room I never planned to co-sleep but we do this quite often for naps and nighttime.

I never planned to give my DD formula but when you don't make enough milk you have no choice but to supplement.

I said I would have date nights by now I have no idea when I'll ever leave her with anyone besides DH

I never gave cloth diapers a second thought but now we are seriously considering it.

I am sure plenty more things will come up as we go because I am realizing my parenting style is not at all what I thought it would be but I am happy with how things are going.
