We put a "For Sale by Owner" sign outside our house...
and DH and I were soooo sad. We have been talking about moving either somewhere else in NJ or down south to the NC / SC area...but to put the sign out there makes it more of a reality. We just want to see if we get any bites. We both love our house but we hardly speak to anyone...we are looking for more of a family neighborhood.
It just feels weird to even be thinking of selling...I was so happy when we moved in. But I guess things change....

thanks everyone  i'm in Dunellen, NJ.
I'm (or I should say we) are just not sure what we want to do...
1) Move somewhere else in NJ (preferably a development) and still be close to family and friends...but both have to work...
or
2) Move to NC / SC near my MIL and only one of us will have to work when we have kids...we will both work most likely before having kids but i want to be a sahm after...but then we wont be near most of our family..and i know my side of the family will be very upset..

My neighbor came asking about it this morning...he was like "I thought you guys liked it here"...I said, well it's a little TOO quiet for our taste (a little dig at the fact that he and his wife have spoken to us only 2x in 2 years and they directly across from us). They dont like us bc they put in an offer for the house 2 yrs ago and it was rejected...meanwhile, he owns a constr. co. and his house in in shambles...I would never sell to him - he will ruin all the hard work we put in!) I have a feeling thats why he is asking.
