I am SO done with the progesterone shots
My butt is so sore that the shots are hurting more and more. Last night I lost it; I hid my face so DH wouldn't see me crying. I can't wait until these shots are done with 
Sorry to be whiny; I've been pretty emotional from all these hormones being pumped into me!

I think the worst part of the hormones is the emotional roller coaster they put you on....It's almost over, you only have a few days left...Think positive!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry they're so painful. I found this for you on another board - it's some tips for the PIO shot. I hope it helps you

I can't get to the link - it's asking me to log in.
But anyway, I think my mistake was not using the heating pad early on, and letting my muscles get so sore. I'm getting injected in sore muscle now, and that's why it hurts. The right side of my butt is so sore today that it hurts to walk 
But, I only have 3 more shots to go!

do you want me to fax it to you? Let me know and I'd be more than happy to - they mention using EMLA cream to numb the injection site.
So happy that you only have 3 more shots!!

Is there any reason why you can't use the suppositories? Or they would prescribe them?
I'm just curious as I (fingers crossed) will be going down this road and would prefer not to have a sore booty either

My doctor never mentioned suppositories 
And no, don't worry about faxing that to me. I think I should be able to brave it out the next 3 days.

How long did you have to do the shots for??
It seems like you did them for a long time.
The day after my transfer they switched me to suppositories.
