Saw the Da Vinci Code today

I never read the book (I've read Angels and Demons) and loved the movie. But I also love Tom Hanks.

When the movie ended and I looked at my watch, it is a 2 1/2 hour movie that moved rather well. It really didnt linger or have a dull moment.

I liked the girl, Andrea Toutou (sp).

I think I'll be reading the book soon as I enjoyed the movie so much. Hubby read the book and he said their was something different in the movie but overall it pretty muched matched the book.

I agree, it was pretty true to the book and moved along pretty well.

If you liked Andrea Toutou, she was in two french films that were pretty good. Amilee (sp?) and A Very Long Engagement. I enjoyed Amilee ALOT and A Very Long Engagement was okay, but kind of confusing.

Thanks. I'll have to check those out. I thought she was great.

Darn, I was going to go to the Mommy and Me showing of this with Christopher tomorrow, but 2.5 hours is a little much for him. Glad it was good though!

Re: Saw the Da Vinci Code today

I just got back from seeing it, and I really enjoyed it.

I think they did a really great job - and Ian McKellen was AMAZING.

From what I remember from the book, they were pretty on target, save a few missing puzzles that would have just made the movie wayyy too long.
