Had my first internal today...
and I'm 0 cm dilated...but, my cervix is softening! I also had the Strep B test done today.
I've also developed a rash under my breasts...the dr. told me it was yeast and prescribed something for it. It's itchy and very red...he said it was pretty common.

Not really...you feel a little pressure, but nothing that you can't handle. Of course, I'm like a little baby and have to ask the dr. everytime they do something to me if it's going to hurt...but, it really didn't.
Also, just make sure you pee before you get it done...although they'll probably tell you to empty your bladder right before it.

I'm so glad I read your post. I'm on my way out to the Dr. and probably I'm going to have my first internal, too. I'm kind of nervous but it's good to know that it didn't hurt you.

Glad to hear it didn't hurt. I'm going for first internal on Monday and the doc will also do the GBS too.
