a bathtub reglazed. Sometime in the summer we want to redo our bathroom but dont want to gut the entire thing so I suggest to DH that we have the tub reglazed. Has anyone done this?

Hi! We had our tub reglazed about 2 years ago when we moved in. It cost around $400-$500. It looks great, but to be honest it is SO hard to clean. It has also chipped and we had to get it redone. Now it chipped again, bit I hide it with the bath mat. If you have any questions, you can FM me. Good luck! Chat Icon

DH and I considered this as well but in the end we wound up just buying a new one. For us it was easier that way.

I had my tub reglazed with Glazetec for about $300 I think. This was back in December and still looks good and not hard to clean. Just need to be on top of it. Also the guy who did it seems nice. So far so good, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Good Luck.
