Work has me stressed! (sorry, kinda long & is also a mini vent)

I work for a small CPA firm, including me and the partners their are only 7 of us. I was hired as Admin. Assistant but do everything in the office except call in payroll but I do simple bookkeeping for some of our clients. The company has known since the second week of Oct. that I was pregnant and they assurred me that they would hire someone by Dec. because our busy season starts middle of Jan. Well they have yet to hire someone! I brought it up twice to them in the beginning of Dec. and they did interview someone but they got back to her late and she never called us back. I put an ad in monster for them and even sorted through the resumes and nothing. Now this past Tues. one of the partners told me that he wants me to do the filing again ( our recp. does it now but makes mistakes sometimes in filing) ontop of what ever otehr work I have. I reminded him again that he would need to find someone because I am not going to be able to do all this work by myself he said tough! Not to mention I still didnt get the money that is owed to me for over from last tax season which is 90 hours. I dont know how to bring that up again. I brought it 2 partners attentions and they said they would take care of it but havent and i know how they are and i dont know they dotn want to give me the money and it is so stressful to me because we could really use the money. Any suggestions on what I should do?

You have to stand up for yourself. Call a meeting with all the partners. Prior to the meeting, make sure you outline all your points and what you want to bring up - including hiring someone else, back pay you are owed, your work load, etc. They will continue to take advantage of you until you stand up. Good luck! I know it's hard but you will feel so much better about yourself once you do.
